Premier of "Crossing the Line": The Intifada Comes to Campus
Category :: Movie
On April 28 at the Shaarei Shomayim Synagogue, Aish Toronto will be presenting an event for anyone concerned about the rise of radical Islam on the university campuses.
Aish Toronto will be premiering the new documentary titled “Crossing the Line”: The Intifada comes to Campus. This 32 minute documentary, produced by acclaimed filmmakers Raphael Shore and Wayne Kopping, explores the recent shocking proliferation of anti-Israel sentiment on North America college campuses. The film features footage as well as accounts from students, professionals and professors.
In addition, we have invited Ms.Rita Katz to join us as a guest speaker. Ms. Katz is a terrorism analyst and the co-founder of the Search for International Terrorist Entities Institute (SITE Institute), a private intelligence firm based in Washington, DC. The Institute tracks global terrorist networks, and intercepts and distributes secret messages, videos, and advance warnings of suicide bombings from terrorist groups' communications networks.
Ms. Katz has a fascinating personal story to tell as well. Her father was publicly executed by Saddam Hussein in 1969 and in her personal fight against terrorism, Ms. Katz has infiltrated radical Islamic groups and exposed terrorists and their links to American funded groups.
